This Sequencing Mats and Worksheets Mini-Bundle includes 10 sequencing mats and 10 corresponding worksheets that focus on basic story sequencing skills. Each mat includes a three or four sentence story that students read (or can be read to students.)  After the students have read the story, students sequence the events of the story by arranging the corresponding pictures in order. 

Sequencing mats can be assembled as is, assembled into a cookie sheet activity, a file folder game, or assembled into binder work.

These activities work well in literacy centers, independent workstations, one:one instruction, and small group instruction.
