How to Use This Build a Sundae Activity:
Students look at each instruction card and build a matching sundae using the building pieces:
Level 1 (Counting 1-5): Students count out the correct number of bananas, scoops, and toppings as indicated on the instruction cards.
Level 2 (Making 10s): Students practice composing 10 using sundae pieces — a foundational kindergarten math skill.
Three setup options:
🧲 Cookie Sheet / Magnet Center: Print pieces on magnetic paper and use on a cookie sheet for hands-on engagement 🌟 Magnet Center: Use as a magnetic activity in a center rotation 🔢 Math Center: Use as a standalone math activity
