My Story

I'm Natalie, and my background is in Special Education. I've worked with students across a wide range of strengths and abilities, and I'm currently teaching in a Pre-K/ECSE co-teach classroom. Everything at File Folder Heaven starts in a real classroom — mine.

I create hands-on activities that keep students actively engaged, provide visual structure, are easily adaptable for differentiation, and give kids lots of opportunities to practice. Most are designed for early learners, students in special education, students with autism, and students receiving speech therapy — though they work beautifully for preschoolers, young elementary students, and English language learners too.

I've always believed learning should be fun. When students are engaged and having fun, the learning follows.
