Summer Counting Adapted Book & Math Activities | Ten Little Fireflies
Product Description
Summer Counting Adapted Book & Math Activities | Ten Little Fireflies is a fun, hands-on summer-themed math resource for preschool, Pre-K, kindergarten, special education, autism classrooms, and speech therapy. This interactive adapted book helps students practice counting, number identification, number words, simple addition, and the concepts of up/down and high/low through repeated text, rhyme, and active participation.
This printable set includes an interactive adapted book, “put in” activity, number sequencing strips, counting clip cards, up/down concept clip cards, and 3 extension worksheets for extra practice. As the teacher or therapist reads the story, students count the fireflies, match the correct number and number word to each page, and “catch” a firefly to place in the jar. It is a great fit for small groups, math centers, literacy centers, independent work stations, and therapy sessions.

"Ten little fireflies were flying in the sky.
