Spring Adapted Book with Real Photos | Making Inferences | Pre-K SPED Autism
Product Description
Build spring vocabulary and inferencing skills with this Spring Adapted Book with Real Photos! In this hands-on, interactive activity, students listen to clues, identify spring-themed objects by attribute, feature, or function, and solve simple riddles using real-life photos.
Perfect for Pre-K, ECSE, SPED, Autism classrooms, and speech therapy, this resource helps students strengthen vocabulary, listening comprehension, and making inferences in an engaging, visual way. As students match each photo to the clue, they actively participate in the riddles and reveal the answer page by page.
How It Works:
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads through the book with students as students solve each riddle by identifying the spring themed object and matching the photo that best fits the description.
Sample Text:
"I see. I see.
What can it be?
It's an animal that has feathers, wings and a beak, and can fly..
(Students find the picture and turn the page to see the answer revealed.)
It's a bird!
That's right!
A bird has feathers, wings and a beak, and can fly."
After the students have worked through the book, there is an extension activity included where they can practice creating their own spring themed riddles. Students working independently may work through the book at a literacy center.
