Zoo Adapted Book | Where Is Zebra Hiding?

Zoo Adapted Book: Where Is Zebra Hiding? is a hands-on zoo-themed prepositions activity for preschool, Pre-K, kindergarten, special education, autism classrooms, and speech therapy. This interactive adapted book helps students practice prepositions or positional words, colors, and color words while actively participating in reading.

Students follow Zebra as he hides among different colored zoo animals throughout the story. As the teacher or therapist reads each page, students identify Zebra’s location and match the correct preposition card to the book. This resource is a fun and engaging way to build early language skills, listening skills, and positional vocabulary during small groups, literacy centers, workstations, or therapy sessions.

Students working at an independent level can work through the book in a workstation or literacy center.

"Where is Zebra hiding?

Where can he be?

He's ________ (behind) the purple rhino,

As we can plainly see!"
