How to Use This Math Set:
Use fruity marshmallows (or pom-poms, mini erasers, or any small manipulative) as "unicorn fluff" pieces. Students place the manipulatives on the counting mats to:
- Level 1: Count and match the number of pieces to the number shown
- Level 2: Model addition problems (e.g., "3 + 4 = ?")
- Level 3: Solve addition problems independently using the flip book and recording sheet
Add tweezers or small tongs to make the activity OT-friendly and include fine motor practice!
