Product Description

Social Skills Task Cards | Appropriate School Behavior are a hands-on social skills resource for preschool, Pre-K, kindergarten, special education, autism classrooms, speech therapy, school counseling, and behavior support. These visual task cards help students identify appropriate and inappropriate school behavior while building social skills, behavior awareness, and classroom decision-making.

This printable set includes 32 task cards that can be used in small groups, social skills lessons, independent workstations, learning centers, and behavior review activities. Students look at each behavior shown on the card and decide whether it is an appropriate or inappropriate school behavior by pointing, clipping with a paper clip or clothespin, circling the answer with a dry erase marker, or discussing the scenario aloud.

In this task card set, students look at the behavior shown on the card and determine if it is a "Go Behavior," or a "No Behavior." If you think this terminology is too confusing for your students, you can call them "Appropriate/ Inappropriate Behaviors," "Expected/Unexpected Behaviors," or "Happy/Sad Behaviors."

These tasks cards work well in small group discussions and in social skills groups.

Use these task cards in independent workstations, learning centers or a small group setting. Students may complete them as a clothespin task, paperclip task, marker task, or answer questions orally in a small group setting (see preview for details).

If your students enjoy these activities, there are many more task cards activities in my collection. Please see the complete collection below:
