How to Use:
In a small group, center, or independent workstation, students complete the sorting mats or clip cards by identifying whether each real photo is a person, place, thing, or action. Use clothespins on the clip cards to build fine motor skills alongside grammar practice. To increase difficulty, give students all 4 mats to sort at once. To decrease difficulty, start with 2 mats (people vs. things) and gradually add categories.
