This interactive adapted book is perfect to use during the beginning of the school year, as a small group or circle time activity or in a literacy or library center all year long for all of your little dinosaur lovers!
This adapted book focuses on the numbers 1-5 and identifying colors.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story to a small group of students as students follow along, and place the correct number of dinosaurs on each page. They must also answer the questions: "How Many Dinosaurs?" and "What Color?" and place the correct number and color (or number word and color word, depending on their level on each page.

This book also includes two levels of matching that makes differentiation easy.
Students working at an independent level can work through the book at a literacy center or workstation.
