These Emotions "Think and Chat" cards are designed to foster conversations about emotions, including: identifying emotions in yourself, identifying emotions in others, and identifying different situations that cause specific emotions.
This set includes 60 different "Think and Chat" cards, with four different types of prompts.
Identifying Emotions in Yourself
"Tell me about a time when you were angry. What made you feel that way."
Identifying Emotions in Others:
"Tell me about a time when you saw somebody who was embarrassed. What made them feel that way?"
Identifying Situations that Cause Emotions:
This boy is surprised. What do you think made him feel that way?
Identifying emotions associated with situations:
This boy just found out that his best friend is moving. How do you think he feels?
These Emotions "Think and Chat" cards work well in social skills groups, speech groups and small group discussions.
