Adapted Song Books teach common vocabulary and concepts through songs and hands-on interaction. This adapted song book, "Summer's On the Way!" teaches summer themed vocabulary and helps students understand the concept of "summer." It is sung to the tune, "Jingle Bells."
Sample Verse:
"School lets out.
Days grow warm.
Sun shines to the ground."
We splash, keep cool--
We hit the pool and beaches all arou-ound."
Students match the pictures and sing along as the teacher or therapist moves through the pages. At the end of the book, students compete a sorting exercise by identifying pictures that look like summer and winter.
