These Spider Themed Sorting and Counting Mats are actually two sets in one! They include 10 unique sorting mats that focus on sorting spiders by color, and 10 unique mats that focus one counting and one:one correspondence for the numbers 1-10. There are a total of 20 mats included in the set.

In a center or independent work station, students sort colored spiders into the spider web mat that is the same color, and place or clip the correct number of spiders on each web that correspond to the number shown.  The number mats can be assembled using Velcro directly on the mats or they can be assembled into a clothespin task.  Please the the preview photo for examples.
