These Feed Wanda Watermelon Sensory Bin Activities are a GREAT addition
to any Watermelon, or Picnic themed unit that you are working on in your classroom.
There are so many ways to use this Feed Wanda Set. I have
left it very open ended so that you can target the skills you
need to target in a small group setting.
I have also included instruction cards for each set so that you can set the activity up as an independent center, and/or sensory bin activity.
There are two sets included: one focuses on colors, numbers and sizes, and one focuses on shapes and sizes.
In the color/number/sizes set, students can feed Wanda by color/number or size.
For example, you can say:
"Feed Wanda 1 red watermelon."
"Feed Wanda 2 blue watermelons."
"Feed Wanda 1 yellow watermelon, and 3 green watermelons."
"Feed Wanda a large red watermelon, and small purple watermelon."
There is also a set of instruction cards included to set the activity up as an independent sensory bin center.
In the shapes/sizes set, you can have students
feed Wanda watermelons by shape or by size. You can also vary
The level of difficulty according to your students needs.
Example: You can say
"Feed Wanda 1 watermelon that is a circle."
"Feed Wanda 2 square watermelons."
"Feed Wanda the large shapes."
"Feed Piggy 1 triangle watermelon, and 1 pentagon watermelon."
There are also instruction cards to set up the activity as an independent center or sensory bin activity.
