These Farm Fine Motor Tasks focus on creating farm animals, identifying and labeling them, and talking about their features and functions. There are two different activities included:
Farm Animals "Let's Talk About It" Dough Mats
Farm Animal: "Let's Build It Activities"
With the play dough mats, students identify the farm animals shown, make it out of play dough and talk about it, by answering the prompts at the bottom of each mat. There are two sets of dough mats 18 total dough mats included: a colored set where students can match play dough colors, and a black lined set where students can choose their own play dough colors.
With the Farm Animals: "Let's Build It" activities, students create the farm animals out of colored pattern blocks and count the number of each color used. (Please see photos and video for details.)
These activities require no assembly. Just print, laminate and go! They can be used in independent work stations or centers but are intended for small group or 1:1 discussion.
