The "In the Winter" Flip Strips are a seasons themed activity.  In this activity, students complete each sentence strip with a picture/word card and read the sentence. In this set, the picture card comes at the beginning of the sentence to complete the sentence "______ are fruits."Set includes:  "it is cold," "we wear sweaters" "we wear jackets" "we wear gloves" "we wear hats" "we see snow" "we build snowmen" "we drink hot chocolate." Flip strips build and reinforce beginning reading skills through repetition.
