The "In the Summer" Flip Strips are a seasons themed activity.  In this activity, students complete each sentence strip with a picture/word card and read the sentence. In this set, the picture card comes at the beginning of the sentence to complete the sentence "______ are fruits."Set includes:  "it is hot," "we swim" 'we eat ice cream" "we go camping" "we go to the beach" "we wear flip-flops" "we wear shorts" "we wear sunglasses." Flip strips build and reinforce beginning reading skills through repetition.
