This Bunny Adapted Book "The Happy Hoppy Bunny," helps students practice preposition words, position concepts, basic comprehension skills and "wh" questions in a fun and interactive way!
This download includes:
1 interactive adapted book
1 set of modeling pieces and position modeling cards
1 cut and glue activity for practicing prepositions
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story to a small group of students, as students follow along, match the correct position piece to each page, and put the bunny in the correct position on each page. At the end of the story, students answer "wh" comprehension questions using the by matching the correct answer piece to each question page.
Students working at an independent level may read through the interactive book and work through questions in a literacy center or independent work station.
After the students have worked through the book, they can practice position words or prepositions with the modeling cards and modeling pieces.
There is also a cut and glue activity included for extra practice. (Please see preview video for details.)
