With this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story as students follow along and add a picture or word (or both) to each page. At the end of the story students will answer -wh questions with the interactive answer pieces that are provided. They will also sequence the story with the sequencing strips provided, practice feeding Lucky different St. Patrick's Day themed objects, and complete the included worksheets!

"When Lucky got hungry, one lucky March day--
He swallowed a clover--that's lucky, I'd say!
He swallowed a rainbow and swallowed a pot.
He swallowed some gold.
(He's lucky a lot!)
He swallowed a hat and a lucky green shoe.
He swallowed a fiddle
(A lucky one too!)
Along came a frog...
And what did he do?????????
He swallowed that frog and he ran out of luck.
When he swallowed the horseshoe--it got really stuck!!
