These Colors And Numbers Adapted Books are a fun, simple and interactive way to review and practice identifying colors, color words, numbers and numbers and number words.
There are two adapted books included in this download including:
Go! Go! Go! (colors and color words)
and
Too Far Car! (numbers and number words)
In "Go! Go! Go!" the teacher or therapist reads the story as the student identifies the color and color word on each page and matches the correct colored car to each page.
Sample Text:
"Hey blue car. Don't be slow.
Ride on Blue Road. Go! Go! Go!"
Hey red car. Don't be slow.
Ride on Red Road. Go! Go! Go!"
(You get the idea!)
In "Too Far Car!" the teacher or therapist reads the story as the student identifies the number and number word on each page and manipulates the car on each page.
Sample Text:
"Drive to the 1.
Stop at the star.
Don't pass it up.
That's too far!
Too far car!
Drive to the 2.
Stop at the star.
Don't pass it up.
It's too far.
Too far car!"
