This Back to School Adapted Book "Where's the Student Standing?" focuses on places in the school, and what happens in each of those places.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story as the students identify and match the correct place in the school to each page. After the story is over, students will complete and object/association matching activity, by matching each object to the place in the school where they might see it. (i.e. cafeteria/lunchbox, gym/basketball, recess/slide etc.)
Students working at an independent level can work through the book in a workstation or literacy center.
Sample Text:

Where can she be?
She's standing at the___________ (bus stop)

"Where's the student standing?
