These sequencing activities, the "Sequencing Adapted Books and Activities Mini-Bundle," include 3 sequencing adapted books (differentiated for multiple learning levels) and accompanying worksheets to practice sequencing a series of events or pictures.
Adapted Books Included:
"I Can Do Lots of Things I" -- (Sequencing a series of 3 pictures)
"I Can Do Lots of Things II"--(Sequencing a series of 4 pictures)
"I Can Do Lots of Things III"--(Sequencing a series of 5 pictures)
There is also 1 worksheet that correlates to each page of every book, for a total of 21 sequencing worksheets.
In a small group, a teacher or therapist reads the sentence, (Ex) :
"I can make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich," and the students sequence the pictures in the order that most makes sense. Students working independently can work through the books at a literacy center. The black and white copies can be used for independent practice, or sent home as a homework assignment, etc.
In addition, the teacher or therapist can print extra copies of each page of the book and set them up as cookie sheet activities, file folder games, or task mats for extra practice in centers and work stations.
If your students enjoy adapted books, there are many more in my collection. You can find the complete collection below:
