This Fire Station Peek And Seek Book provides a fun and interactive way to introduce and fire station themed vocabulary and a great way to practice important inferencing skills! Students will also get a lot of repetition with the core words, "what," "you," "I" and "see." This book also includes real photos for students who benefit from more realistic pictures, and would work well during Fire Prevention Month or during any community helpers unit.
This activity works can work well in a small group, at circle time, as a "time filler" activity before or after a transition, or in a literacy or library center all year long.
Students will practice their inferencing skills when they are given a "peek" of an object and students just love to guess what the mystery picture is.
