These Frog Life Cycle Sequencing Activities include 1 Adapted Book and 1 accompanying worksheet. The Frog Life Cycle Adapted Book teaches a simple 4 step life cycle for the frog, includes hands-on interaction with the text, and reinforces sequencing skills.
Adapted Book Included:
This Is How a Frog is Born
The teacher or therapist reads book as students follow along, matching each step of the life cycle on each page. At the end of the book, students sequence the complete life cycle of the animal. Students working independently can work through the book at a literacy or science center. When they are done with the book, they can complete the corresponding cut and glue life cycle worksheet.
Sample Book Text:
First there is a frog.
Next it lays eggs in a pond.
Then a tadpole hatches, eats and grows a lot.
Last the tadpole grows legs and becomes a froglet. When the froglet becomes a frog, the life cycle starts over again.
This is how a frog is born.
