These Back to School Adapted Books, "Time For School," and "Moving at School" teache school themed vocabulary words through both music and movement.

"Time for School" is sung to the familiar tune, "Jingle Bells."

Sample Verse:

"Time for school!
It's so cool!
The bus is on its way!
Pack a lunch--
And pack a bunch!
I'm working hard today--HEY!"

Students match the pictures and sing along as the teacher or therapist sings the song and moves through the pages. After the song is complete, students complete in a sorting activity that focuses on classifying school related objects.

This is a fun back to school activity that works well the first week of school.

UPDATE! I have just updated this set to include two books! Also included is a "Movement Book," that focuses on school themed vocabulary, gross motor skills, following directions and imitation skills. Also included are "Movement Cards," that go along with the book.
