The "UG" Word Ladder Activity is a beginning reading activity. In this activity, students work with the "UG" Word Family.  Students match "UG" words with their pictures to complete the word ladder. After completing the word ladder and reading the word ladder out loud, students write their answers on their word ladder recording sheet.

Word ladders help students read, write and recognize common spelling patterns.
