These Functional Sight Words Matching Mats (Set 2) focus on restaurant words and provide a versatile way for students to practice with functional sight words. This set includes 7 different matching mats that focus on things we might see on a menu, and incorporates real photos.
There is a mat for each of the following menus:
Mexican Food
Italian Food
Steak House
Hamburger/Fast Food
Chinese Food
Beverages
Desserts
On each mat, students match the correct functional sight word to each real photo. There are two levels of matching provided for differentiation. Level 1 includes visual support. Level two includes words only.
Use these activities in centers and workstations assembled as is, assembled into binder word, assembled into a file folder game, or assembled into a cookie sheet activity.
