Matching Activities

These Matching Activities:  Spring Match and Flip Books and Matching Mats focus on spring themed vocabulary.  In these activities students work on basic picture to picture matching, picture to word matching and picture to sentence matching.  These activities include real photos.

You can create 1 Match and Flip Book and use three different matching pieces for students working at different levels--Or you can create three different books for three different levels.

Level 1:  Matching Picture to Picture
Level 2:  Matching Picture to Word
Level 3.  Matching Picture to Sentence

Match and Flip Books have big pieces for little hands and work well in small group instruction, one:one instruction, independent workstations, and literacy centers.

After students have practiced with the Match and Flip Books, there are also two Matching Mats that are included that can be assembled into file folder games, cookie sheet activities, morning work and homework binders, or laminated and used as is.
