Christmas Adapted Book
This Christmas Adapted Book, "Where is Santa Hiding?" teaches prepositions or positional words and reinforces colors and color words.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story as the students identify Santa's position in relation to each colored elf or elves on each page. Students will match a position or preposition card to each page as the teacher reads. Students working independently can work through the book in a literacy center or independent workstation.
Sample Verse:
"Where is Santa hiding?
Where can he be?
He's ________ (between) the yellow elves,
As we can plainly see!"
