This Farm Adapted Book And Activities, "The Prancy Little Piggy" focuses on farm themed vocabulary words, preposition words, position concepts (preposition words), basic comprehension skills, "wh" questions and story sequencing.

1 Cut And Glue Activity
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story to a small group of students, as students follow along and move the piggy into the correct position on each page. Students can also attach a matching piece to each page (included and optional). At the end of the story, students answer "wh" comprehension questions using the by matching the correct answer piece to each question page.
Students working at an independent level may read through the farm themed book and work through questions in a literacy center or independent work station. There are several extension activities included for extra practice. (Please see photos and video for details.)

"Down on the farm, where the cows roam free...
a prancy little piggy was as prancy as can be.
He pranced under a rooster
and he pranced beside a sheep.
He pranced over a chirping chick--
that chick chirped out a "CHEEP!"
(CHEEP-CHEEP!)
He pranced right past a donkey
And he pranced above a goat.
He pranced high on a horse--of course,
a "NEIGH!" sprang from his throat!
(NEIGH-NEIGH!)
