Sometimes clip art is just so cute that I can't pass it up! That's what happened here. This is a "just for fun," quirky "solve the riddle" book that gives students a fun and interactive way to work on inferencing skills.
The teacher or therapist reads the book as students find the matching pieces to solve the riddle. For added fun and interaction you can put the answer pieces in a sensory bin. Who's that face in outer space? Who will win the big space race? You have to read the book to the end to find out!
Sample Text:
"Who's That Face In Outer Space?
He barks his way up through the fog.
He wags his tail. He's our friend, ___. (dog)
Who's That Face In Outer Space?
He squeals so loud and "oinks" so big.
His tail curls up. He's our friend, ___. (pig)
You get the idea!
