This Valentine's Day Adapted Book, "Cupid Brought A Pet," is packed full of hands-on learning!

This book focuses on the Wh- Questions, "Which" and "Who?," making inferences, the concept of wants/needs, and even incorporates some Valentine's Day social skills (saying Thank You!)

In a small group the teacher or therapist reads the story as students follow along and make inferences using the clues provided. Students will match a sweater, and the person who received it to each page.

Sample Text:

"I wanted chocolate candy.
Balloons are fun to get.
I asked for lots of flowers.
But Cupid brought a pet!

It has gray fur, long ears, and hops to get around.
Which pet is it?
Who got the pet?"

Students working independently can work through the book in a literacy center or independent workstation.
