Teach Halloween vocabulary, matching skills, -wh questions and basic comprehension skills with this super fun and interactive adapted book! THE SCARY LITTLE WOLF is sure to be a class hit this Halloween season. It's a new, fresh take on my original adapted book: THE SCARY LITTLE WITCH
If your students loved THE SCARY LITTLE WITCH, they are sure to love THE SCARY LITTLE WOLF too!
In this activity, a teacher or therapist reads the story, as students follow along and match a picture piece to each page. At the end of the story, students answer basic comprehension questions by choosing the correct answer piece that goes with each page.
Students working at an independent level can read and work through the book at a literacy center or independent work station.
Sample Text:
"One dark night, when it was time to trick or treat,
a scary little wolf was scaring people on the street.
She scared a little unicorn.
And she scared a little shark.
She scared a puppy dog, who didn't like the dark!"
(Oh and this book is not scary--it's meant to be cute!) ;)
