In this interactive activity, a teacher or therapist reads the story, as students follow along and match a picture piece to each page. At the end of the story, students answer basic comprehension questions by choosing the correct answer piece that goes with each page.
Students working at an independent level can read and work through the book at a literacy center or independent work station. The book includes plenty of repetitive text and rhyme for beginning readers.
In this silly spring/garden themed story, there is trouble in the garden. The bee has gone missing and none of our friends in the garden can seem to find it.
Sample Text:
"Where is the bee? Where did it go?
Betty tried to find it, but she really didn't know!
She looked next to the basket and she said, "What's that I see?"
She found a chirping cricket but she didn't find the bee!"
"Where is the bee? Where did it go?
Buddy tried to find it, but he really didn't know!
He looked above the basket and he said, "What's that I see?"
He found a bouncing grasshopper but didn't find the bee!"
