In a small group, a teacher or therapist reads the sentence, (Ex) :
"I can build a snowman," and the students sequence the pictures in the order that most makes sense. Students working independently can work through the books at a literacy center.The black and white copies can be used for independent practice, or sent home as a homework assignment, etc.
In addition, the teacher or therapist can print extra copies of each page of the book and set them up as cookie sheet activities, file folder games, or task mats for extra practice in centers and work stations.
