This Back To School Adapted Book: Aliens At School is a fun and interactive book that reviews colors, color words, numbers, number words and basic counting through a silly back to school story. It is perfect to use during the beginning of the school year, as a small group or circle time activity or in a literacy or library center all year long for all of your little alien lovers!
This adapted book specifically focuses on the numbers 1-5 and identifying colors.
In this activity, the teacher or therapist reads the story to a small group of students as students follow along, and place the correct number of aliens on each page. They must also answer the questions: "How Many Aliens?" and "What Color?" and place the correct number and color (or number word and color word, depending on their level on each page.
